EA first opened an office in Hawaii in 1995 to support federal, state, and commercial clients throughout the Pacific Rim. A local staff of scientists, geologists, chemists, engineers, and health and safety coordinators provide comprehensive interdisciplinary environmental consulting services. Local expertise includes environmental investigation and remediation, water/wastewater engineering, natural resources, solid waste, health and safety, compliance monitoring, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), and coastal resilience/sea level rise.
