Hunt Valley, Maryland (13 August 2026)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, is pleased to announce that Ivy Harvey, PE, PMP, Vice President and Director of Army Programs, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Engineering Society of Baltimore (ESB). She was nominated for the position and elected by ESB membership.
Harvey joins EA Senior Vice President and Director of Federal Programs Kim Nelson, who currently serves as 2nd Vice President of the ESB Board’s Executive Committee. As a Director, Harvey will help guide the future direction of one of the region’s oldest and most respected engineering organizations. The ESB supports professional development, networking, collaboration, and engagement among engineering professionals throughout the Baltimore region while serving as steward of the historic Garrett-Jacobs Mansion.
“The ESB plays an important role in connecting engineering professionals and advancing our industry,” said Harvey. “I look forward to working with fellow board members to strengthen engagement, broaden opportunities for collaboration, and help ensure the society remains relevant and impactful for future generations of engineers and community leaders.”
A member of ESB since 2020, Harvey has developed a strong personal connection to the organization and its mission. She has also been active in numerous professional organizations throughout her career, including the National Association of Ordnance Contractors, where she has served on the Board of Directors since 2022 and recently completed her second year as President, and the Society of American Military Engineers Baltimore Post, where she supports professional development and STEM outreach initiatives.

Harvey has more than 20 years of engineering and program management experience and has been with EA since 2005. She earned bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and French from Montana State University and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Harvey is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
By serving on the ESB Baltimore Board of Directors, Harvey continues a longstanding commitment to professional involvement that aligns with EA’s dedication to industry leadership, collaboration, and workforce development.
