Hunt Valley, Maryland (5 March 2025)— EA, a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced it is ranked 33rd in Environment Analyst’s latest state of the industry study, the Global Environmental & Sustainability Consulting Market Assessment. This study is based on data compiled for 35 of the leading international environmental and sustainability (E&S) consulting firms.
Rankings for the Global 35 leading companies are based on E&S revenue figures for 2023 (or March 2024 depending on fiscal year-end) submitted via an annual survey and verification process, or estimated based on publicly available information sources where there were data gaps. The Global 35 firms totaled a combined revenue of $35.3 billion in 2023, which based on Environment Analyst research, accounts for 65 percent of the global E&S consulting market.
“This recognition highlights our dedication to creating a sustainable future for all. Our passion for improving the environment is evident across the spectrum of service provided to our clients as they address their complex environmental challenges, said Ian MacFarlane, EA CEO, President, and Chair. “As a public benefit corporation, we demonstrate our commitment to the environment by means of transparent reporting of corporate social responsibility efforts, carbon footprint, and environmental, social, and governance metrics.”
Environment Analyst defines E&S consulting as “The provision of specialist technical, management, risk, and strategic advisory services to help organizations understand, manage, and minimize their impacts to protect and enhance the environment and communities, and proactively respond to climate change in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.”
EA has been previously recognized by Environment Analyst among the Top 100 Environmental and Sustainability Firms, and is currently ranked 45.
