Hunt Valley, Maryland (13 January 2025)—EA is proud to announce that Travis Hines has been promoted to Profit Center Manager for Alaska operations. In this role, he will be responsible for operational performance, personnel and logistics management, technical product quality, client satisfaction, and business development.
“Travis’ promotion to this leadership role builds upon his consistent dedication to meeting the Alaska operational goals, the project and program needs of our client base, and the mentoring and forward development of our technical staff,” said EA Vice President and Business Unit Director Jennifer Martin Bouchard. “As a lifelong Alaskan, he possesses a strong understanding of the diversity of markets, geography, logistical challenges, and economic drivers in Alaska.”
Hines has been with EA for 12 years of his 24 years of professional experience in Alaska. He brings an extensive background in environmental compliance project and program management; natural and cultural resources; and site characterization and remediation services supporting multiple Department of Defense installations in Alaska as well as the resource extraction industry. His direct responsibilities have included managing remote site work; water, soil and air, hazardous waste and hazardous materials compliance programs; and supporting all facets of operations management. EA first established operations in Alaska in 1992 and maintains locations in Anchorage and Fairbanks.
Hines completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management and a graduate certificate in Environmental Sustainability at American Public University. In addition, he was recently accepted into the Master of Business Administration program with a STEM concentration at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Hines is a member of the Project Management Institute.
