EA has provided hosting and support services for the publicly available PGAtlas.com for the past 6 years. The dedicated, hosting environment supporting the PGAtlas.com application consists of a combination of web servers, Oracle Database Server, and Esri ArcGIS Server, as well as SMTP and FTP Services. EA performs weekly and monthly data updates for the underlying data and associated ArcGIS map services, which provide the backbone for the application as well as supporting software patches and major upgrades. Over the course of the project, EA has successfully transitioned the application from the prior hosting vendor’s environment to EA’s on-premise hosting environment and recently to an Amazon Web Services cloud environment. Today, EA continues to be the sole hosting and support provider for the application.
