UXO awareness trainings was provided to all construction subcontractors during then reconstruction of the Port of Guam. Due to the possible presence of UXO from past military actions on the Island of Guam, EA developed a Site Specific UXO Awarness that was mandatory for all site workers. The presentation was given online and recorded for all future new subcontracted employees. As a result, potential UXO was identified within the reconstruction footprint and the procedures presented in the UXO awarness course were followed and resulted in no explosive accidents or incidents.
