EA provides comprehensive environmental health and safety services to Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Aviation Administration. EA has performed a broad range of services in support of capital projects and facility administration and operation at both the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport located near Baltimore and Middle River, Maryland, respectively. EA conducted a comprehensive initial asbestos inspection of Baltimore-Washington International Marshall Airport, including the terminal and approximately 60 out-buildings, and Martin State Airport, including the terminal and various hangars and support buildings; performs annual asbestos inspection updates and Asbestos Management Plan preparation, comprehensive lead-based paint inspections, pre-renovation intrusive hazardous materials inspections for ongoing capital projects at both airports, hazardous materials abatement oversight, mold and indoor air quality investigations, environmental management system support, fuel system inspection and management, stormwater, hazardous waste, spill prevention, industrial hygiene services, air quality investigations and permitting, information technology support, training, and overall program-level environmental compliance.
