For all projects involving field, analytical, or other data collection, EA utilizes established data handling and management procedures to effectively process generated data such as analytical chemistry data, field measurements, and field observations and ensures that it is readily accessible and accurately maintained. EA routinely utilizes our implementation of EQuIS® Environmental Data Management System, which employs a proven and well-defined normalized database structure for processing, storing, and reporting analytical results. The EQuIS® system provides a suite of functions for performing automated import and quality control of data via standard electronic data deliverables, as well as providing easy data reporting, comparisons, and monitoring of data trends. All data are stored in a centralized, project-specific Microsoft SQL Server database. EA has employed the EQuIS® system for several clients including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army Environmental Command, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Exelon Energy.
