For the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development’s Clearing House on New Chemicals, EA led the process to identify and define requirements for a new electronic system that would allow chemical manufacturers to complete the notification process for new chemicals simultaneously for multiple international regulatory agencies. EA’s team of IT Business Analysts, Scientists, and Application Developers facilitated a series of brainstorming and requirements meetings with members of the Clearing House on New Chemicals Committee. The results of the process served as the foundation for the definition and high-level conceptual model for the future electronic New Chemical Notification (e-NCN) system and a Rough Order of Magnitude estimate for development and implementation
