Hunt Valley, Maryland (6 April 2026)—EA has promoted Matthew Frigon, PhD, to Profit Center Manager for the EnviTreat treatability laboratory located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He joined EA in 2018 as EnviTreat’s laboratory director and will continue to lead the EnviTreat team in this capacity. In this new role, he is responsible for operational performance, personnel and logistics management, technical product quality, client satisfaction, and business development.

Frigon has 22 years of experience, including 8 years at EA, specializing in environmental engineering. He has extensive experience in industrial wastewater treatment plant design and operation, municipal treatment plant evaluation and troubleshooting, application of the respirometric method for biological system design and optimization, as well as municipal water and wastewater collection and distribution system design and operation.
Frigon earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Nankai University. He has authored and contributed to numerous publications and regularly presents at national and regional industry conferences.
