Hunt Valley, Maryland (8 January 2025)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC, a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, is proud to announce that Controller Candice Cramer, CPA, MBA, has been promoted to Senior Vice President. As Controller, Cramer is responsible for managing the operation of EA’s Finance Department and all aspects of the firm’s operational and corporate accounting.
“An integral member of EA’s Finance and Accounting team for more than 15 years, Candice possesses unique expertise and understanding of every financial aspect of our operations,” said Jason Echelle, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. “Very few people in the company have her breadth of understanding of EA’s financial operations, and she is integral to the day-to-day success of what we do.”
Part of Cramer’s role involves financial risk management and quality control to ensure that EA’s financial system complies with government reporting requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and tax filings. Most recently, she played a critical role in reconciling the data conversion and workflows associated with the firm’s conversion to a new Enterprise Resource Planning system.
Prior to her promotion to Controller and Vice President in 2021, Cramer served as an Accounting Manager. She has spent the last 15 of her 18 years of professional experience with EA. Cramer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Stevenson University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University of Maryland. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.
