EA Earns Silver Rating for Sustainability Performance from EcoVadis

Hunt Valley, Maryland (1 May 2026)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced that the firm’s sustainability program has once again been recognized with a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, a global leader in business sustainability assessments.

“Retaining the EcoVadis Silver rating reflects the consistency of our sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices, and the shared commitment that our employees bring to doing business responsibly,” said Brian Lesinski, Executive Vice President, Chief of Client Programs, and Director of CSR. “We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, and we’ll keep strengthening our program to deliver even greater environmental and social impact for our employee-owners, clients, and communities where we live and work.”

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across 4 core themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. More than 130,000 companies globally have been rated by EcoVadis. Continuous and effective management of sustainability practices is critical to our business and society. EA relies on EcoVadis to rate our performance, identify risks, and focus our efforts where they can create the greatest global impact.

EcoVadis’ business sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability standards such as the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the International Labour Organization conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative standards and the ISO 26000 standard. The ratings provide an evidence-based analysis on performance and an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement.

With this March 2026 rating, EA’s CSR program continues to be recognized among the top 15 percent globally. EA has been involved with the EcoVadis assessment program since 2014. Details about EA’s sustainability programs is available through our most recent Corporate Social Responsibility Report/A Public Benefit Statement  and Carbon Footprint reports, which are prepared annually in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative Universal Standards, SASB Standards, and the World Resources Institute Greenhouse Gas Protocol framework, respectively.
