Hunt Valley, Maryland (18 November 2025)—EA has been awarded a Pre-placed Remedial Action Contract (PRAC) by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)–Kansas City District. Projects assigned under this Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) will be performed for customers of the Northwestern Division of USACE and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 2.

Work performed under this 5-year contract may involve environmental removal actions, remedial actions, and other remediation activities related to hazardous, toxic, or low-level radiological waste; groundwater treatment; and contaminated sediment. This MATOC has a total capacity of $245 million.

“Over the last 20-plus years, EA has executed more than $100 million of work for the USACE-Kansas City District,” said Jim Costello, P.G., Senior Vice President and Program Manager. “Projects have involved a range of contaminants at dozens of investigation and cleanup sites.”

EA’s previous work for the District has involved groundwater remediation; landfill capping; residential remediation; treatment system installation, operation, and maintenance; and long-term monitoring. This is the fourth consecutive Small Business PRAC awarded to EA by USACE-Kansas City, extending our support to the District’s mission.
