Hunt Valley, Maryland (4 February 2026)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, is proud to announce that EA’s National Service Line Program Manager for Climate, Chris Anderson, PhD, has successfully completed the ClearPath 2.0 Trained Professionals Program (TPP), joining a select group of professionals recognized for their ability to deliver high-impact climate planning services.
ClearPath 2.0, provided by ICLEI USA (formerly known as International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives.) and developed by ClimateView, is a next-generation monitoring and planning platform for communities that enables impactful communication of measurable, fundable climate strategies through advanced greenhouse gas emissions calculations, target setting, intervention metrics, iterative monitoring, and progress tracking. TPP ensures that service providers like Anderson receive comprehensive training and certification, equipping them to support United States jurisdictions in their climate action planning with confidence and credibility.
In completing TPP, Chris undertook online training, participated in live cohort sessions, and passed the final assessment to demonstrate proficiency in the Transition Journey methodology and the platform’s core modules. As a ClearPath 2.0 Trained Professional, Chris will be publicly recognized within ICLEI USA’s network of over 300 local government members and will have access to exclusive resources, technical support, and opportunities to contribute to climate action case studies.

Anderson joined EA in 2023 as National Service Line Program Manager for Climate Services. He has more than 27 years of experience in climate adaptation, mitigation, and climate‑impact research. Anderson specializes in translating complex climate projection data into practical tools that support engineers, municipal planners, natural resource managers, and policymakers. His work as a climate scientist encompasses climate risk analytics, carbon accounting, regulatory and voluntary carbon markets, and the development of climate data guidance for infrastructure and community resilience planning. Anderson has authored influential guidance documents, contributed to major climate action and adaptation initiatives across the United States, and has delivered more than 150 presentations to agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners. He holds a PhD and Master of Science in Agricultural Meteorology and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology.
