Hunt Valley, Maryland (21 March 2024)—The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has selected EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, to provide hazardous substance assessment, cleanup, monitoring, risk assessment, and related support services. The purpose of this contract is to support ADEC in managing, mitigating, and communicating environmental risks to protect state residents and natural resources. The period of performance of the initial contract term extends through October 2028, with optional renewal terms for an additional 5 years, through October 2033.
Work performed may include site management and remediation, risk assessment, monitoring and reporting, sampling and laboratory analysis, public engagement and transparency, training, policy and guidance development, and research and audits to support future planning.
