EA awarded USACE–Mobile District ERS Contract

Aerial View of Mobile, Alabama, home to the USACE Mobile DistrictHunt Valley, Maryland (3 April 2023)—The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)–Mobile District has awarded an Environmental Remediation Services (ERS) contract to EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services. Projects assigned under this Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) will be performed for customers of the USACE–Mobile District, including but not limited to customers in the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida, and other locations assigned to the District.

The 10-year contract was solicitated as a small business set-aside opportunity under NAICS 562910, ERS. The MATOC pool is for a total capacity of $249 million, shared amongst all of the awardees, including 12 small business and 6 8(a) firms. Work performed will include a full range of ERS, including hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste assessments; investigations; studies; remedial designs; remedial actions and operations; monitoring; and other related services.

Over the last two decades, EA has completed a variety of assignments for the Mobile District, including dredged material evaluations, stormwater pollution prevention plans, air quality assessments, and compliance support.
