EA Continues Its Annual Tradition of Bringing Joy to Children during the Holidays

EA Dallas Toys for TotsHunt Valley, Maryland (2 March 2021)— EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC, (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, is pleased to announce the success of the company’s 2020 holiday giving program, which puts toys, clothes, and other gifts directly into the hands of children who need them the most.

EA’s Dallas-area employees partnered with the Lone Star Jeep Club in support of Toys for Tots.  Local EA employees raised money and provided toy donations to this iconic giving program, which has been making a difference in the lives of American families since 1947.  Through its toy drive, Toys for Tots helps bring holiday joy and sends a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children.  In addition to its annual holiday campaign, Toys for Tots runs a literacy program, which has distributed over 2 million books since its inception in 2008.

EA HQ The Childrens HomeFor EA’s Baltimore-area employees, The Children’s Home of Catonsville (TCH) remained the keystone of their holiday giving efforts.  For the 24th consecutive year, EA’s employees supported TCH’s Holiday Gift Program through gift donations and monetary contributions, which were used to purchase clothes, shoes, toys, and gift cards to cover future needs.  With respective wish lists in hand, EA employees roamed websites, loaded up shopping carts, and delivered a van-full of holiday cheer.  Established in 1863, TCH in Catonsville, Maryland is a residential care facility that provides both long- and short-term services to youth 13–21 years of age.

“The pandemic certainly increased the need for support, and I am pleased that our employees stepped up in a big way to help those most affected,” commented Ian MacFarlane, President and Chief Executive Officer.  “While our goal was to provide a little holiday cheer, our holiday giving program, like all of our philanthropic activities, brought our employees closer together as a team.”

These activities were part of EA’s broader employee-based giving campaign, which is anchored by the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program and benefits a wide range of organizations and programs.  EA’s structured and proactive CSR Program is synonymous with its status as a Public Benefit Corporation.
