Through a network of nationwide offices, EA can rapidly support time-sensitive transactions. We partner with our client’s deal teams to quantify and prioritize current and future environmental risks. EA’s knowledge of local regulatory requirements along with our experienced professionals help to bring transparency to the deal process and provide our client’s confidence that appropriate environmental risks have been identified and quantified. We typically become involved early in our client’s acquisition process helping to identify and prioritize environmental risks. As an integral part of our client’s deal team, we quantify and prioritize the most significant environmental risks allowing our clients to plan appropriate responses and mitigation strategies. Post-acquisition, EA assists our client’s by performing base line audits and/or developing compliance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
If required, EA performs hundreds of environmental site assessments in accordance with ASTM International standards. We can rapidly mobilize qualified environmental professionals to conduct Phase I reviews that may be required. Moreover, due to EA’s depth of knowledge conducting site characterization studies, we can readily conduct any subsurface soil and groundwater sampling and analysis as part of a Phase II study. If needed, EA can also design and implement remedial options for cleaning up contaminated soil and groundwater.
