EA’s Employees Help Brighten the Holidays for Children and Families in Need

Hunt Valley, Maryland (12 January 2018)—The employees of EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA) opened their hearts, wallets, and cupboards this holiday season and generously donated to a variety of national and community-based charities.

EA’s Employees Help Brighten the Holidays for Children and Families in Need

For EA’s Baltimore-area employees, The Children’s Home of Catonsville (Home) remained the cornerstone of their holiday donation efforts. For the 21st consecutive year, EA’s employees supported the Home’s Holiday Gift Program through monetary contributions, which were used to purchase clothes, shoes, toys, and other items, as well as provide gift cards to cover future needs. EA’s Maryland-based employees also continued their giving ways and joined their colleagues in EA’s Dallas, Texas office in supporting The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program by providing gifts of new clothing and toys to those less fortunate.

Another charity of choice was the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Program, and employees of EA’s Syracuse and Dallas offices purchased many toys that were distributed to children in their respective communities. In addition, Syracuse office employees donated plastic containers of peanut butter and jelly to the Blessings in a Backpack program, through its local partner the Oswego County YMCA, to provide food for youngsters over the holiday vacation period.

“Programs such as Toys for Tots, Angel Tree, and the Holiday Gift Program are highly impactful,” commented Ian MacFarlane, President and Chief Executive Officer. “When we give selflessly to others, the holiday season is enriched for all. We look forward to expanding these programs in the years to come.”
