EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC Awarded Contract to Provide Environmental Restoration Services to NOAA

Hunt Valley, Maryland (19 December 2017)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide environmental restoration services for the northern U.S. Atlantic and Great Lakes regions. This contract has a base period of 5 years and an estimated value of $9,975,000.

Under this ID/IQ contract, EA will perform a range of environmental services in both tidal and non-tidal environments in support of the habitat restoration and environmental programs for the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Office of Habitat Conservation, Restoration Center. EA’s responsibilities will include conducting technical/scientific assessments (i.e., bathymetric and topographic surveying); providing regional and site restoration planning, including professional engineering and design; assisting with the organization and facilitation of public and stakeholder coordination; and supporting the development of documentation necessary to achieve regulatory compliance. In addition, EA will provide construction oversight and inspection to ensure compliance with project design plans and specifications as well as local state and federal permits, complete technical and environmental monitoring of restoration performance, and provide the construction services necessary to enable restoration of environmental habitat functions.
