Hunt Valley, Maryland (11 July 2017)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that Dave Nazy, L.Hg., has joined the firm as a Senior Hydrogeologist. In this role, Dave will add technical expertise to EA’s Integrated Water Resource Service Line in the Pacific Northwest, which focuses on developing resilient water supply, storage, and resource management solutions for our clients. He will also support the characterization and remediation of hazardous waste sites.

Dave joins EA with 30 years of experiencing advancing sustainable solutions to the water resource challenges of the Pacific Northwest. Previously, during his notable career with the Washington State Department of Ecology, Dave managed a number of large, multiphase hydrogeologic and interdisciplinary water management and contaminated site investigations. His responsibilities included serving as the Department’s technical lead for aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) for more than 10 years and managing investigation and permitting for the Kennewick and Yakima projects, two of the largest and most complex ASR projects in the state of Washington. In addition, he managed the remedial investigation and feasibility study to facilitate the cleanup of arsenic and lead contamination from the Everett smelter, in residential and industrial areas of northeast Everett.

"We are very excited by the wealth of knowledge and strength of relationships that Dave brings to EA," said Chris Canonica, P.E., Vice President and Manager of EA’s Pacific Business Unit. "As a recognized expert in the field of water rights, supply, and mitigation, he will greatly complement our growing Northwest practice.
