Hunt Valley, Maryland (18 October 2016)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded a statewide contract to provide Superfund Engineering Services by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). With a maximum value of $8 million, this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is for 4 continuous years; with an optional 1-year renewal period.

Under this TCEQ contract, EA will conduct remedial engineering, oversight services, and other duties as needed at various sites that are within the purview of the Superfund Program including State Superfund sites and Federal Superfund sites managed by the State of Texas. “This significant award highlights EA’s strong working relationship with TCEQ, and also showcases our technical expertise with leading edge characterization and remedial technology,” said Roger Place, P.G., Vice President and Director of EA’s Central Business Unit. “As a highly experienced TCEQ and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency consultant, we look forward to applying our comprehensive knowledge to clean up Superfund sites located in Texas under reduced timeframes as well as for lower long-term costs.”
