EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC Awarded Pre-Placed Remedial Action Contract with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers–Kansas City District
Hunt Valley, Maryland (24 August 2016)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded a Pre-Placed Remedial Action Contract (PRAC), Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)–Kansas City District. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a shared maximum total ordering capacity of $176.25 million to be executed amongst 7 small business contract holders. The base ordering period is 3 years plus one 2-year option, for a total ordering period of up to 5 years.
Under this contract, EA will provide a broad range of remedial action services for Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste remediation projects in support of existing and future customers within the Northwestern Division of USACE and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2. Federal programs to be supported include Defense Environmental Restoration Program, including Installation Restoration Program and Formerly Used Defense Sites; EPA Superfund; Department of Defense Environmental Quality Program; Brownfields; Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program; and Base Realignment and Closure. In addition, under this contract, EA may be called upon to provide environmental services and construction activities to the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Emergency Management Agency in response to a natural disaster or terrorist incident.
