EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract to Provide Architect-Engineering Services to Support Environmental Programs Worldwide

Hunt Valley, Maryland (9 August 2016)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded an Architect-Engineer (A-E) 2013 Environmental Services (A-E13ES) Contract by the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron in support of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a shared capacity of $500 million to be executed amongst a pool of selected contractors. The period of performance under this contract is a 60-month ordering period with an additional 2 years for performance. EA was awarded this prime contract as a small business under North American Industry Classification System Code 562910, Environmental Remediation Services, with a small business size standard of less than 750 employees.

Under this contract, EA, with its teaming partners, will provide Title I, Title II, and other A-E services to administer, coordinate, and technically support environmental missions and programs of interest to the government. These include, but are not limited to, the Environmental Restoration mission, Military Munitions Response Program, Environmental Conservation and Environmental Planning mission, Environmental Quality mission, as well as addressing and interpreting all aspects of environmental design and environmental laws and regulations. The place of performance will be worldwide and occur at various government installations in the United States, various overseas government locations, government territorial possessions, Defense Logistics Agency fuel facilities worldwide, and other worldwide locations of interest to the government.

For projects related to specific construction projects, explicit tasks associated with Title I services will include conducting field surveys and investigation as well as all aspects of design including preparation of contract plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction schedules. For Title II services, EA will be responsible for supervising and inspecting construction, including all aspects of construction quality assurance and oversight of environmental projects. In addition, for those projects not related to specific construction projects, EA will provide the support necessary for implementing restoration, pollution prevention, compliance, and conservation environmental projects.
