Hunt Valley, Maryland (21 June 2016)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today its recent hiring of Harris Brody, CIH, who joins the firm in its Hunt Valley location as a senior scientist. In this role, Harris will provide technical expertise as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) in support of EA’s Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance practice. Applying his decades of experience, Harris will direct and oversee occupational safety and health projects for EA clients, ensuring compliance with current regulations and designing programs that create a safer and healthier workplace. In addition, Harris will support corporate health and safety program needs on an as-needed basis.

A 30-year industry veteran, Harris has extensive experience conducting workplace analyses, and developing and executing strategies for hazard prevention and control processes that emerge from such assessments. As a result, he has a highly developed knowledge of safety and environmental regulations such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), Clean Air Act (CAA), and Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA).

Harris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. He is a CIH through the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, and is certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as an Asbestos Project Designer, Building Inspector, and Lead Risk Assessor.
