EA Employees Generated Smiles and Goodwill during the Holiday Season

Hunt Valley, Maryland (15 January 2016)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that two of its largest offices, located in Hunt Valley, Maryland and Lewisville, Texas, helped to brighten the holiday season for deserving families and children through its employees’ generous support.

For the second consecutive year, EA’s Lewisville employees conducted a Thanksgiving food drive benefiting Community Partners of Denton County. Exceeding their goal, they collected canned goods, other non-perishable food items, and monetary contributions; and provided complete holiday meals, including the turkey, to four deserving families.

Separately, EA employees in the company’s Hunt Valley corporate headquarters conducted a toy drive on behalf of the Children’s Home of Catonsville, a tradition that began 19 years ago. Every year, EA employees, relying on lists provided by the children, choose gifts with personal attention to each child’s particular wishes. This year, in addition to toys, EA employees provided a monetary donation to fund a group activity, such as a trip to the movies, as well as sheets and blankets for the Home’s residents.

“These annual activities provide our employees with a wonderful way to honor the spirit of the holidays, and are truly reflective of the charitable giving and community support pillars central to EA’s public benefit corporation framework,” stated Brian Lesinski, Vice President and Director of Corporate Social Responsibility. “Our employees particularly enjoy volunteering during the holiday season, and their response is nothing short of amazing.”
