EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. Awarded Engineering Services Contract with Wicomico County, Maryland

Hunt Valley, Maryland (24 October 2014)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been selected to provide engineering services under an “on-call” contract with Wicomico County. This professional services contract has a base term of 1 year, with a renewal option for 1 additional year. Services under the contract will be managed out of EA’s Ocean Pines office under the direction of Darl Kolar, P.E., Project Manager.

During the contract duration, EA will provide various types of engineering-related duties to support the Wicomico County Department of Public Works, in particular the Engineering Division. The firm may also perform work for other County Departments. Requested services may span the full project life cycle and include regulatory permitting, cost estimates, preparation of engineering plans and specifications, and contract management. The type of work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, drainage and structural assessments, stormwater management, marine projects, solid waste engineering and landfill management, and asset management and Geographic Information Systems support.
