EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. Employees Support The Children’s Home Holiday Giving Program

Hunt Valley, Maryland (24 January 2014)— For the 17th consecutive year, the employees of EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, provided holiday gifts for the many boys and girls who call The Children’s Home in Catonsville, Maryland their home, as well as the children in its Treatment Foster Care Program.

Once again, Abbie Smith, P.E., a senior engineer/project manager from EA’s Hunt Valley headquarters, coordinated EA’s efforts on behalf of its more than 200 Maryland-based employees. Using wish lists provided by The Children’s Home, EA employees fulfilled the residents’ requests for electronics, games, books, sports equipment, and clothes. This year, 15 large bags full of gifts were delivered, providing presents for all of the Home’s more than 40 residents.

“This is a great way for us to contribute to the local Baltimore community during the holiday season,” said Abbie Smith, P.E. “The Children’s Home is always so appreciative of our support, which makes it easy to participate year after year.”

“Our Holiday Giving Program provides the children of The Children's Home with a direct connection with the support and generosity of the community,” added Andre Cooper, Chief Executive Officer of The Children’s Home. “We thank EA employees for their generous support of this program.”
