Hunt Valley, Maryland   (2 August 2013)  —    EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today the opening of its newest office located in the Denver Tech Center south of Denver, Colorado. This expands the company’s footprint to 22 offices throughout the United States and its territories.
“EA’s presence in the Denver Metro area provides our existing clients with better access to EA’s talented professionals, and creates opportunities for EA to expand our business with new private sector clients and key federal, state, and municipal agencies across the Rocky Mountain region,” said Ian MacFarlane, EA’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Although only recently established, the office is already staffed with four full-time professionals, who collectively have more than 80 years of experience in environmental consulting. The office is managed by Sarah Babcock, P.E., a long-term resident of the Denver Metro area. EA’s Denver staff offers experience with Colorado’s Voluntary Cleanup Program and complex site investigation and remediation at federal facilities, as well as offers capabilities in the areas of mine waste removal and mine site reclamation. Additional EA personnel have long supported the National Park Service through the Denver Service Center with an array of natural resources management services, including preparation of environmental assessments and environmental impact statements under the National Environmental Policy Act, and have provided stormwater permitting and environmental compliance support at numerous Department of Defense sites throughout the region.
