Department of Defense Education Activity

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has contracted EA to provide 24/7 hosting, support, and maintenance for three of its mission critical facility and asbestos management web systems for a user base located across the world. EA’s support includes providing customer support, responding to user requests, and ensuring all systems are operational and available 24 hours a day. In addition to hosting and support, EA also provides application development services to modify and maintain these systems as DoDEA’s needs change.

CORRIDOR, DoDEA’s Facility Management System, provides facility engineers with the ability to:

  • View and report upon detailed facility information and drawings for 200+ internationally located schools
  • Plan for and manage capital improvement projects
  • Prioritize projects on a macro level as funding becomes available.

Dashboard, DoDEA’s Facility Management Reporting System, provides an executive look into Facility and Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) data. Dashboard was designed to provide user-friendly, easy access to an assortment of reports for senior and executive management within DoDEA.

The AHERA Training Site provides information to educate DoDEA’s engineers and school personnel on asbestos awareness to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s AHERA. The site includes a 2-hour asbestos awareness course followed by a web-based exam to test the knowledge of DoDEA personnel.
