EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC Kicks Off Second Annual Water For People Campaign

Hunt Valley, Maryland (18 April 2017)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it is a recipient of a 2017 National Safety Council’s (NSC) Occupational Excellence Achievement Award.

EA has a well-established safety and health program aimed at keeping employees, clients, and subcontractors safe. Integral to EA’s safety system is employee training, peer-to-peer observation, management review, system audits, and onsite inspections. Proactively implemented, EA’s comprehensive and systematic safety and health program has resulted in more efficient and effective operations by improving employee health and morale, and reducing Worker’s Compensation costs, lost time, fire and liability insurance premiums, and property damage.

“This recognition goes to all of our employees as their collective efforts have produced EA’s award-winning safety record,” says Peter Garger, CIH, CSP, EA’s Corporate Safety and Health Director. “EA is a champion of workplace safety and health and absolutely committed to creating and maintaining a safe working environment at all of our offices and job sites. Receiving recognition from NSC reinforces the value of our safety culture, and motivates our employees as they work together to achieve EA’s goal of continuous safety improvement.”
