EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC Hosting Job Interview Workshops for the Second Year

Hunt Valley, Maryland (3 March 2017)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that, on 17 February 2017, the firm hosted a job interview workshop for the 18 soon-to-be-graduates of Civic Works Baltimore Center for Green Careers (BCGC) Brownfields Technician Training program. The company is scheduled to host a second job interview workshop on 5 April 2017 for the trainees of BCGCs Energy Retrofit Training program.

As enthusiasm to support this program spreads, more than 25 EA employees participated in the planning and implementation of the half-day workshop, which included a presentation on interview tips and helpful hints, resume review, interview practice sessions, computer and field equipment demonstrations, and a tour of EAs Ecotoxicology Laboratory.

EAs support of BCGC is a win-win for both organizations, commented Rebecca Yarrison, an EA human resources professional. Our employees gain personal satisfaction from their volunteer efforts and the trainees have the opportunity to hone their interview skills and build the confidence necessary to make a positive impression during upcoming job interviews.

Elizabeth Harlow, BCGC Placement Specialist, added, EAs support of our program has been instrumental in preparing our trainees for the job interview process. The workshop buoys their self assurance and enables them to be better equipped to achieve success. We at BCGC are so thankful for the generosity of EA and its employees.
