For the 20th Consecutive Year, EA Employees Generously Donate to The Children’s Home Holiday Giving Program

Hunt Valley, Maryland (13 January 2017)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC, a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, is pleased to announce that for the 20th consecutive year, its Maryland-based employees generously supported the Holiday Giving Program of The Children’s Home in Catonsville, Maryland.

This year, employee donations topped $1,500 and included warm winter staples such as comforters, coats, and boots, as well as gifts and gift cards. Laura Oakes, P.E., Senior Engineer/Project Manager, coordinated EA’s activities, and more than a dozen EA employees supported the company’s efforts by shopping for gifts, managing inventory, and providing transportation.

“Twenty continuous years of support—quite a feat—and it certainly demonstrates that EA employees are committed to helping the communities in which we work and live,” said Laura Oakes, P.E. “The charity shown by our employees is inherent of our company’s commitment to achieving public good through its Corporate Social Responsibility Program.”

“EA is one the best supporters of our Holiday Giving Program and we certainly appreciate their continued enthusiasm,” added Andre Cooper, The Children's Home Chief Executive Officer. “The generosity of EA employees is vital to making the holiday season joyful for the children and youth in our care.”
