Hunt Valley, Maryland (8 April 2016)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today its continued expansion in the Pacific Northwest with the establishment of an office in Kennewick, Washington. This is EA’s third office in the region and the eighth office that the company has established in the Western United States over the past decade.
Building on the expertise of its professional staff, the technical focus of the office will be in the areas of agricultural, municipal, and industrial water supply, quantity, and quality, including water rights and aquifer recharge. The Kennewick office will be managed by Kevin Lindsey, Ph.D., L.Hg., who is widely recognized for his expertise with the unique geology of the Columbia River basalt aquifer system, which covers 258,000 square miles. Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Geology from Washington State University, and is both a licensed geologist and hydrogeologist in the state of Washington. One of the cornerstones of EA’s new office will be water rights work led by Ms. Molly Reid, a seasoned water resources consultant, with more than 20 years of experience and a breadth of agricultural water supply knowledge.
“EA is very excited to further expand our Pacific Northwest footprint and to invest in our capacity to help the region manage its water resources,” said Michael Battle, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “We are confident that there is incredible potential for us in the tri-cities area.”
