EA Employees Participate in Lewisville, Texas Cleanup Event

EA Employees Participate Lewisville, Texas Cleanup Event

Hunt   Valley,    Maryland  (26    June   2015)
EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, is pleased to announce that a number of its Lewisville, Texas employees participated in the 29th Annual Spring Cleanup, an event hosted by Keep Lewisville Beautiful, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering citizens through education to take on greater responsibility for enhancing the Lewisville community. The EA team, comprised of employees, family members, and friends, collected 42 bags of trash and two illegally dumped concrete culverts for proper disposal. Held in conjunction with Earth Day and the Great American Cleanup, the event was hosted by Keep Lewisville Beautiful in partnership with the City of Lewisville. It is estimated that more than 600 volunteers removed more than 6 tons of litter from streets, parks, and creeks during the annual event.

EAs Lewisville office employees have a proud history of supporting similar efforts in the Lewisville community. Most recently, EAs employees, families, and friends participated in the Trinity Trash Bash, an event for which the EA team was recognized for collecting the most trash, for a small group, and for picking up the most unique item, a large metal safe.

As environmental consultants, our employees readily recognize the benefits that events such as the Annual Spring Cleanup can to do enhance the quality of the environment, said Roger Place, Vice President. We are proud to be part of the team of volunteers who are making a difference in this great community.
