Hunt Valley, Maryland (16 November 2012)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it has been awarded a Performance-Based Remediation Task Order at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah. This award was made under the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Worldwide Environmental Restoration and Construction 2009 (WERC09) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract.

Under the Task Order, EA will provide remediation services at 40 sites located at Hill AFB and Little Mountain Test Annex, Utah, which should accelerate site closures and/or substantially reduce long-term Air Force liabilities. The initial award amount is for $16,837,153, with the possibility of $51,212,854 in options for additional work, for a potential total value of $71,050,007 over an 8-year period of performance.

EA will conduct this work with the support of two teaming partners: CH2M HILL Constructors, Inc. (CH2M HILL) and American Environmental and Engineering Consultants, LLC (AEEC). Both organizations have offices located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

“The EA team is very pleased to have this opportunity to support the AFCEC and Hill AFB in carrying out its long-term remedial strategy,” said Joel Lazzeri, Vice President and Manager of EA’s Air Force Program. “This task order award is a significant achievement for EA, and a great addition to our diverse portfolio of Air Force projects.”
