EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. Awarded Contract with Prince George’s County, Maryland, for Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Construction Management Services
Hunt Valley, Maryland (16 October 2012)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that it is one of 13 firms that have each been awarded an on-call contract with Prince George’s County, Maryland. This contract has a maximum value of $5 million over its potential 5-year term, which consists of a 3-year base period and two 1 year options.
Under the contract, EA will provide a wide range of professional services throughout the County, supporting the planning, design, construction management, and implementation of environmental programs, capital improvement programs, and related initiatives. Projects to be completed may include water quality monitoring, watershed management, wetland creation, stream restoration, stormwater drainage improvement, urban stormwater quality improvement, community revitalization, reforestation, corrective flooding and erosion, right of-way acquisition, and municipal infrastructure reconstruction.

"This new contract enables the County to access the full spectrum of EA's scientific, engineering, and technical disciplines to support the Department of Environmental Resources' Sustainability Services Program, which involves municipal separate storm sewer system permit compliance, innovative watershed restoration, and flood control. Our team of interdisciplinary specialists and subcontractors will seek to incorporate sustainable practices into our work to enhance the value of our services to the County."
