EA’s Bill Santelik Receives 2011 Outstanding Young Member Award from the Society of American Military Engineers, Chicago Post
Hunt Valley, Maryland (24 February 2012)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of interdisciplinary environmental services, announced today that William (Bill) Santelik, an environmental restoration scientist, has received the 2011 Outstanding Young Member Award from the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Chicago Post. He was presented with a commemorative plaque during the Post’s recent Officers and Board Members Induction Dinner.
Each calendar year, this award is given by the Post’s officers and directors to recognize outstanding leadership and accomplishments that support the strategic goals and objectives of SAME and its Chicago Post. Active members age 35 years or younger are eligible for this award.

A graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science, Mr. Santelik began his career at EA in 2009, specializing in environmental restoration projects involving wetlands and streams. He is a Professional Wetland Scientist with restoration and permitting experience throughout the Midwest. An active member of the SAME Chicago Post, he served on their Board of Direction in 2011, and is now the Post’s Assistant Treasurer for 2012. Mr. Santelik also served on the planning committee for the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley 2011 Regional Conference, held last October in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
