EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. Awarded Contract for Remediation and Environmental Consulting Services with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District
Hunt Valley, Maryland (22 July 2011)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA), a leading provider of environmental, engineering, and program/construction management services, announced today that it has been awarded its first contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District.
This Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Remediation and Environmental Consulting Services (RECS) is valued at $30 million. The contract covers a base period of one year with two potential one-year options, and will be used for a variety of environmental programs, including projects involving environmental issues; hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste; and/or ordnance and explosives. The geographic focus of the contract will be on projects located within USACE’s Southwest Division (SWD) area of responsibility, which includes all or parts of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas. The contract may also be used for other projects nationwide.
