“I am extremely honored to accept this unexpected recognition from the ACEC and ESB communities of professionals,” Ms. Adams said. Ian MacFarlane, EA’s President and Chief Executive Officer, added, “Every year, these awards acknowledge the accomplishments of the best and brightest young professionals in our industry, and Abbie certainly deserves to join her peers in receiving these prestigious accolades.”
Ms. Adams currently manages $1 million in engineering projects, supporting the Base Realignment and Closure program at U.S. Army Post Fort Belvoir, where she leads the EA team in assisting the Directorate of Public Works with planning, design, review, and management of this extensive infrastructure development program that includes a hospital, various Army agency headquarters, and the National Museum of the Army.

Ms. Adams started her career at EA in 2003, after graduating from Bucknell University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
