William Goodfellow, Jr., Vice President at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., to serve as President of the North America Geographic Unit of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry
Hunt Valley, Maryland (08 January 2010)—EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. (EA) announced today that Mr. William Goodfellow, Jr. will serve a one-year term as President of the North America Geographic Unit of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC-NA).
An internationally recognized expert in toxicology and toxicity reduction technology, Mr. Goodfellow is Vice President of EA’s Water and Natural Resources Business Unit. “EA is committed to providing industry leadership and we are proud to have Bill contribute his expertise to SETAC in support of its important mission,” said Mr. Ian MacFarlane, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Goodfellow’s 35-year career has been dedicated to environmental toxicology. He has served on peer review panels, task forces and editorial committees for these issues, as well as being widely published. “Bill brings a detailed understanding of the Society’s activities to this position. We rely on him for his technical expertise and business acumen,” stated SETAC-NA’s Executive Director Mr. Greg Schiefer. “He has been actively involved in SETAC for many years, serving the organization in various leadership positions, and we are grateful for his continued contributions to our work.”
